🎬 Chasing the Gold – Documentary Screening

Saturday 18 April | 5:30pm for a 6:00pm start | Port Douglas Community Hall

The Port Douglas Surf Life Saving Club is excited to host a special community screening of the surf sports documentary Chasing the Gold on Saturday 18 April.

This inspiring film follows some of Australia’s top surf lifesaving athletes as they prepare for one of the toughest endurance races in the world — the legendary Coolangatta Gold.

The documentary gives a behind-the-scenes look at the dedication, training and resilience required to compete at the highest level of surf sports.

Whether you’re a surf lifesaving member, an athlete from another sport, or simply love stories of determination and adventure, this is a great opportunity to experience the excitement of surf sports on the big screen right here in Port Douglas.

The event will start with doors opening at 5:30pm, with the screening beginning at 6:00pm at the Port Douglas Community Hall.
